Anna Werle - Landscape Designer

Anna Werle joined Terra Design Studios with a Masters in Landscape Architecture from Chatham University and a degree in Parks and Resource Management with a focus on Environmental Education and Interpretation. Anna has worked within both the non-profit and for-profit sectors on a variety of projects ranging from Sustainable Sites Initiative compliance, to drainage and grading plans, to taking part in the Pittsburgh Green Infrastructure Network. Anna has more than four years in a client facing role, where she managed the development and sale of landscape design products, as well as annual budgets and events.

Within her position at Terra, Anna assists with the Master Planning at Kingwood Center Gardens and Pittsburgh Botanic Gardens, including significantly contributing to the creation of construction documents using AutoCAD. Additionally, Anna offers rendering support and product research for each project, and she has a professional interest in community participation in design.

In her free time, Anna loves to get outside and hike around the Southwest PA region to expand her native plant knowledge and forage for local mushrooms and other delicious edible wild plants. Despite having a strong passion for coffee and its origins, she brings a sense of Zen into the office thanks to her regular yoga practice!
